FAQ
How do I get my FusionSolar kiosk link?
- Sign in to the Huawei FusionSolar web portal in a browser.
- Open your plant.
- Click "Kiosk" at the top.
- Turn on the toggle.
- Copy the link and paste it in SunWatt.
The link gives read-only access to your plant data. Anyone who has it can see that data. Turn the toggle off to stop it.
How do I connect SolarEdge?
- Sign in to the SolarEdge monitoring portal in a browser.
- Go to Admin > Site Access > API Access.
- Accept the terms, turn on API access and copy the API key. The site ID is shown on the same page.
- In SunWatt, open "Solar production" (in the onboarding or in Settings), choose SolarEdge under "Solar system" and enter the site ID and the API key.
You need admin access to the site. If you cannot see Admin, ask your installer to give you access or the API key. The key stays on your device and is sent only to SolarEdge.
How do I connect PVOutput?
- Sign in to pvoutput.org in a browser.
- Open Settings.
- Turn on API Access and copy the API key. Your system ID is shown on the same page.
- In SunWatt, open "Solar production" (in the onboarding or in Settings), choose PVOutput under "Solar system" and enter the system ID and the API key.
PVOutput works with many inverter brands (Fronius, SMA, Enphase, GoodWe, Growatt and more) once your inverter or monitoring app uploads to it. The key stays on your device and is sent only to PVOutput.
I do not have a solar plant. Can I still use SunWatt?
Yes. Skip the solar step in the onboarding. Price widgets work with no solar system set up.
Why can solar data be up to 30 minutes old?
The kiosk page of FusionSolar updates about every 5 minutes, and the plant sends its data to the cloud with a delay. iOS also decides when a widget may refresh. On Android, the widgets refresh about every 15 minutes, and Android can wait longer to save battery. Tap a widget to open the app: it loads the latest data and updates the widgets. Even then, the value cannot be newer than the one FusionSolar has. SolarEdge reports power in 15-minute steps, and PVOutput is only as fresh as your last upload to it.
Why do tomorrow's prices appear only in the evening?
The price providers publish the next day's prices only in the afternoon or evening (for Spain, PVPC prices come out around 20:30). Until then, SunWatt shows today only.
Why is the price different from my bill?
For Spain, SunWatt shows the regulated PVPC price from Red Eléctrica. For other countries it shows the day-ahead wholesale price from Energy-Charts. Your bill also has taxes, network charges and your supplier's margin. Use SunWatt to compare hours, not to predict your bill.

- Search for "SunWatt".
- Pick a size and tap "Add Widget".
- Touch and hold the widget, tap "Edit Widget" to choose solar, price or both.

How do I add a widget on Android?

- Choose solar, price or both.
Quick Settings: swipe down twice, tap the pencil (edit) and drag the SunWatt tiles (price and solar) into place. Touch and hold the app icon for the shortcuts: Electricity price, Solar production and Cheapest hours. The names of the menus can be different on some phones.
How do I use SunWatt on a Wear OS watch?
- Install SunWatt on the watch from Google Play.
- Open SunWatt on your phone once, so it sends your settings to the watch.
- To add a complication, touch and hold the watch face, tap "Edit" and choose SunWatt (price or solar).
The watch gets the prices and solar data itself. When the phone is not near, it needs its own Wi-Fi or mobile connection.
Where is my data stored? What do you collect?
Nothing is collected. Settings and the last data stay on your device. See the privacy policy.

Preguntas frecuentes
No tengo placas solares. ¿Puedo usar SunWatt?
